XL Ireland has revealed the winner of its nationwide colouring competition, 11 year old Ruby Scott from Co. Monaghan, who designed a beautiful bandana for XL’s new Irish Wolfhound mascot Briosca.

Brand personality

Unique to XL, Briosca has been created to become a key brand personality that aligns with brand values – local, Irish, community – and is designed to encourage customers to support their local store.

XL introduced Briosca to the public by offering an interactive activity pack in participating stores and asking members of the public to take part in a colouring competition by designing a colourful bandana.

Special treat

From the multitude of entries, Ruby’s was selected and she, along with her family, recently received an unforgettable prize of a two-night family stay in Westport, Co. Mayo. Ruby, who picked up her activity pack from her local XL, Declan Gartlan’s XL, in Lannett, Killanny, Carrickmacross was also presented with her own bandana, which was brought to life from her design as a special treat.
