Aldi announces extended opening hours

Aldi Ireland has announced extended opening hours across all 161 stores, commencing 25 March, 2024.

The new opening hours include the earlier opening time of 8am from Monday to Saturday, as well as closing one hour later, at 10pm, on Saturdays only.

The discounter noted that Sunday and bank holidays hours will remain unchanged.

Donald Mackay, managing director, operations, Aldi Ireland, said:  “We are excited to announce our extended opening hours.

“They will ensure our customers have even more time to explore the wide range of offerings available in-store.

“We know our customers have busy lives, and we want to make shopping with Aldi as convenient as customers are advised to check with their local store for local changes to the store opening times.”

Stores with exceptions to new opening hours

  • Ballyphehane, Cork (9am – 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 9pm Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays)
  • Blackrock, Cork (9am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am – 9pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Swords, Dublin (9am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 9pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Laytown, Meath (9am – 9pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 7pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Muldhuddart (9am – 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 7pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Frascati Shopping Centre, Blackrock, Dublin (9am – 10pm Monday to Saturday and 9am – 9pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Blanchardstown, Dublin (8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 9pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)
  • Dunshaughlin, Meath (8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, 10am – 9pm Sunday and Bank Holidays)

Aldi also offers a ‘Click and Collect’ service in 20 of its stores.
