Avoca plays it cool with new ice cream offering
The past few years have seen retailers and symbol groups across Ireland embrace ice cream bars as a high-margin in-store offering. Luxury retailer Avoca is the latest to go down this route, joining forces with Irish ice cream brand Scúp Gelato in three of its stores.

Following in the footsteps of symbol groups, luxury lifestyle brand and retailer Avoca has introduced its new ice cream stalls at stores in Wicklow (Avoca Village), Dunboyne, Co. Meath and Rathcoole in Dublin.
For the new offering, Avoca has joined forces with Irish family-owned ice cream business Scúp Gelato to provide 12 flavours including traditional favourites such as vanilla, strawberry and mint, and more esoteric varieties such as Jaffa Cake, Ferrero Rocher and Black Cherry. Regardless of the flavour, however, Scúp Gelato says it all comes from the same starting point: the highest-quality Irish milk and cream.
Avoca will also offer three sorbet flavours, providing a high-quality option for vegans.
The new ice cream and gelato offerings have launched at Avoca Village in Co. Wicklow, Avoca Dunboyne and Avoca Rathcoole.
