Boots Ireland opens new store in Cork City, creates 15 jobs
Located on Half Moon Street, this flagship location is the best expression of a Boots store across the UK and Ireland

Boots Ireland recently announced the opening of a new flagship store on Half Moon St., Cork City, creating 15 new jobs.
The move represents a €4.4 million investment, the retailer noted.
Stephen Watkins, managing director of Boots Ireland, commented: “This €4.4 million investment represents a significant milestone for Boots Ireland.
“The Half Moon Street store is not only our first destination store in Ireland, but it’s also the pinnacle of the Boots retail experience across the UK and Ireland.”
Premium beauty brands
The store introduces a host of premium beauty brands previously unavailable in Cork, including MAC, Armani Beauty, YSL Beauty, Chanel Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, Kiehl’s, The Ordinary, Dr. Jart+, Too Faced, REM, and Milk.
This curated selection provides the most comprehensive range of skincare available in the market, catering to every skin type and age, from accessible brands like Bubble to trusted names like La Roche Posay and trending K-Beauty lines such as Beauty of Joseon.
Boots noted that the destination store also elevates haircare with the introduction of premium brands like Kérastase, Redken, Quai, and L’Oreal Pro.
Healthcare
The redesigned upstairs area provides a patient-friendly environment for a comprehensive range of healthcare services, it added.
This includes a state-of-the-art Boots Hearingcare World of Hearing, designed to deliver the highest standard of audiological care.
