Ghost Deer has been designed “to fuse craft beer, art and taxidermy” according to BrewDog co-founder James Watt. There’s a combination of nouns you won’t often hear in the one phrase…..

Ghost Deer is an artisanal golden Belgian ale and he describes its ‘unique’ method of draught countermount dispense as “beautiful and disturbing – it disrupts conventions and breaks taboos, just like the beer it pours. It is fermented using three different yeast strains then aged in six different oak casks for over six months before being served from a deer’s head; it’s more complex than anything we’ve produced before.”

Last year BrewDog launched the controversial strongest beer in the world in the form of The End of History at 55 per cent ABV.
