The 57th Corona Cork Film Festival takes place from November the 11th to the 18th and will screen over 300 Irish and international films, World Cinema, documentaries and short films.

Commenting on Corona’s renewed sponsorship of The Corona Cork Film Festival, Corona distributor Barry & Fitzwilliam’s Managing Director Michael Barry said, “It’s encouraging to see a festival that is now in its 57th year continue to thrive and bring a refreshing new mix of features, shorts and documentaries to film enthusiasts from Ireland and abroad and this year looks more exciting than ever.  The partnership has been a resounding success for Corona Extra and this year we focus the sponsorship on our Corona Light brand, launched earlier this year. We encourage people to ‘experience the light’, cameras and action!”

Mick Hannigan, the Corona Cork Film Festival’s Director added, “The title sponsorship by Corona for the sixth year in succession cannot be underestimated for organisations such as ours that are promoting films and film-making.  That industry is a provider of a considerable number of jobs, both directly and indirectly and the Festival itself is now positioned as one of the world’s foremost film festivals. With our title sponsor’s help we’ve been able to deliver an exciting festival to our audiences”.

Full programme listings are available on www.corkfilmfest.org and tickets are available on the website and in the Opera Lane  box office (Tel: 021 4274301).
