Hula Hoops’ 2019 basketball tournament tips off
The second annual Hula Hoops 3x3 Championship basketball tournament will take place at Bray Seafront in Co. Wicklow this 18th May. Sixteen teams will tip off at a specially-constructed court, while brand activations and other sampling will be taking place throughout the day.

Basketball is a very popular sport in which Irish teams regularly compete on the world stage. Hula Hoops is a major sponsor of the sport, including with the upcoming second annual 3×3 Championship at Bray Seafront this Saturday 18 May.
The event will see sixteen teams from across the Basketball Ireland National Leagues competing to be crowned Hula Hoops 3×3 National Champions. A specially-constructed court will be created for the event, while the Hula Hoops Mascot will be on hand to entertain and Hula Hoops challenges will be for all the family. Admission on the day is free.
Conor Meany, Commercial Manager at Basketball Ireland said the organisation is thrilled to be bringing the Hula Hoops 3×3 competition back once more this year. “3×3 is such an exciting form of the game,” he said, “and it will be great for people to be able to see it in Ireland on this scale again this year. With some of the top players in the country playing, we are looking forward to an amazing event.”
