Pepco celebrated the opening of its newest store in Artane, Dublin this weekend, following eight successful launches in the past year, including Limerick, Tallaght and Tralee in 2023,

Pepco, which has over 4,000 stores across 21 European countries, describes itself as “a one-stop shop” for food, health & beauty, fashion, homewares, toys and key household needs.

The latest opening on Saturday, 4 November, came after Dealz completely revamped eight of its Irish stores, giving them top-to-bottom makeovers, converting them to the Pepco brand.

Located in Unit 33-35, Butterfly Business Park, Kilmore Road, Dublin 5, D05 YY13, Artane is the ninth Pepco store to open in Ireland, adding to the stores in Santry (Omni Shopping Centre), Finglas Main Centre, The Park at Carrickmines, The Courtyard at Newbridge, Galway Shopping Centre, The SquareTallaght, Abbeycourt in Tralee and Limerick One Shopping Park, Limerick.

According to a spokesperson for Pepco, the initial eight converted stores have been welcomed by customers who’ve appreciated the ranges, wide aisles, and clean and modern environment.

Alongside Dealz and Poundland, Pepco is one of three key retail brands operated by the Pepco Group and headquartered in Poznan, Poland.

“We’re delighted at the initial reaction to our Pepco stores in Ireland and we’re extremely excited to be opening our newest Pepco store in Artane,” said Olivia McLoughlin, trading country operations manager for both Pepco and Dealz in Ireland.

“We’ve been working hard to ensure we bring the items that we know our customers already love along with much more.

“We know purse strings are tight for many families throughout Ireland and that’s why we also know the value we offer will matter,” McLoughlin added.
