POPAI UK & Ireland is inviting retailers, brands, and sustainability professionals to the highly anticipated ‘Impact Ireland: Sustainability in Retail’ event, taking place on 14 November at the Hilton Charlemont Place, Dublin. 

This half-day morning event will explore how top brands like Logitech, Boots Ireland, and Diageo are championing sustainable in-store activations and driving innovation in environmental practices.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into successful sustainability initiatives, collaborative efforts, and practical solutions that can be applied to enhance sustainability in the retail sector.

The event is being emceed by Sharon Yourell Lawlor, an award-winning retail and shopper marketing strategist, with more than 25 years of experience in the FMCG industry.

  • A session on collaboration as the key to sustainability, led by Rachel Maher from Diageo Ireland and Aideen O’Neill from Verve The Live Agency, who will discuss Diageo’s decarbonisation efforts and share practical tips on integrating sustainability into retail strategies.
  • Steve Lister, Head of Global Sustainability at POPAI UK & Ireland, will highlight emerging trends in sustainable retail, focusing on the evolving demands of consumers, retailers, and supply chain partners.
  • Paul Lowry and Julian Esposito from TapCreative will explore the balance between sustainability and aesthetics in design, as well as strategies for creating conscious shopper experiences.
  • Seán Higgins, Managing Director of Future Proof Insights, will dive into the neuroscience behind sustainability, exploring the gap between intention and action, and offering science-backed frameworks for effective messaging.
