Tayto celebrates 70 years with special edition book
To mark its anniversary, Tayto released The Story of Tayto, donating €1 from each sale to ALONE, supporting elderly individuals in their communities

Tayto has released ‘The Story of Tayto’ book, Illustrated with hundreds of images from the Tayto archives and packed with stories from the past and present.
This special edition is a book for the whole family to enjoy.
Celebrations began with a Tayto float featuring Mr. Tayto in the St. Patrick’s Festival parade.

This was followed by a variety of initiatives, including commemorative Tay70 packs featured in-store activations.
A collaboration with An Post included the Tay70 logo being franked on more than three million letters across June and July.
Additionally, the Tayto Roadshow travelled all over Ireland, providing communities with the opportunity to engage with their beloved Mr. Tayto.
For every copy of the ‘The Story of Tayto’ that is sold, Tayto will be donating €1 to their charity partner ALONE, whose incredible work supports the elderly to age securely at home in their communities.
