The new limited edition Tayto Chocolate bars have created quite a stir. The idea of the iconic cheese and onion crisp combined with Butlers Chocolate has generated acres of coverage across social media networks and traditional media.

A spokesperson for Tayto told ShelfLife: "We have been overwhelmed with how well the Tayto Cheese and Onion Chocolate bar has been received so far. It is available nationwide, however given the response a number of shops have actually sold out. We are working with Butlers to ensure more bars are available over the coming weeks. However this is a limited edition item and so will only be available for the next few months."

Following in the footsteps of those Hunky Dory ads, it’s clear that when it comes to generating publicity, Raymond Coyle and Largo Foods are true maestros.
